Webster v Ridgeway Foundation School Governors

Webster was a white pupil who had been injured on school grounds by an Asian fellow pupil. He and others were suing the school for negligence, claiming that they had allowed racial tensions to develop. Disclosure was sought of a variety of documents, including disciplinary and health records. Disclosure was limited insofar as it would disclose identities of children or medical records.

This case was decided by the Queen’s Bench on the 21 May 2009 and is available here.
